Who We Are
Urology Center of the Philippines
The Urology Center of the Philippines, Inc. (UCPI) was born from a visionary idea in October 1995, officially registering with the SEC on December 20, 1995. What began as a bold step into Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL) in April 1996 quickly expanded. Our initial Stone Unit at Manila Doctors Hospital, blessed in May 1996, set the stage for remarkable growth.
Timely with our first anniversary, we launched the UCPI Ambulatory Care Center. Continuing our expansion, UCPI opened its new wings as a secondary hospital, licensed by the DOH on March 6, 2012. We are continuously upgrading our equipment and exploring new ventures, maintaining our lead as an innovator in the urological industry while upholding the highest standards of service excellence.
UCPI is recognized as the leader in urologic care in the Philippines, managed by a Board of Directors comprised of past presidents of the Philippine Urological Association, Chairmen of the Philippine Board of Urology, and heads of training institutions. With 22 years of quality service and thousands of satisfied patients, we are committed to advancing the field of Urology through our social responsibility initiatives and state-of-the-art equipment.
UCPI is a proud member of the DOH, BFAD, PDEA, Philippine Hospital Association (PHA), Philippine Nuclear Research Institute (PNRI), and Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (Philhealth).
